Put Out Fires Fast With the Elide Fire Ball

I am sure that you understand the importance of keeping fire extinguishers not just at your place of work, but also at your home.

The issue with a fire extinguisher is that you need to get pretty close to the fire in order to successfully extinguish it. This is where the Elide Fire Ball comes in handy as it full of the needed chemicals to extinguish all class A, B, C, and E fires. These classes are as follows:

  • Class A – fires involving solid materials such as wood, paper or textiles.
  • Class B – fires involving flammable liquids such as petrol, diesel or oils.
  • Class C – fires involving gases.
  • Class E – fires involving live electrical apparatus.

It couldn’t get any simpler to use either, just throw the ball into the fire. The ball activates in three seconds once it is in the fire. But get this, it won’t just extinguish your fires. If the ball detects a fire in your home, it will let off a loud noise to alert you.

According the company website you do not have to worry about any toxic chemicals being let off by the Elide Fire Ball. It does let off a giant cloud of smoke but the Fire Ball is made from human and environmentally friendly materials.

The Elide Fire Ball was created back in 1997 by Phanawatnan Kaimart, a Thai scientist but since then, the popularity has spread around the globe.

In an interview with Australian TV’s Today Tonight program, Zack Anidam, the former Israeli commando who is the CEO of Elide Fire Ball Australia explained that:

What it does is just push the oxygen away from the fire. So it’s like a candle. When you blow on a lit candle, you’re just pushing the oxygen away from the fire.

You don’t need to worry about dropping the Elide Fire Ball and it accidently blowing up as it will only activate at certain temperatures making it one smart ball. If you aren’t home when the fire starts, the ball will self-activate when it comes into contact with the flames. Because of this feature, the company website recommends installing the Fire Ball mount near higher risk areas such as kitchens, electrical circuit breakers, overloaded outlets or fireplaces.

These aren’t exactly cheap but when you compare the price with what the ball actually does and the fact that it could save you a lot of money in damages, we believe it is well worth it.

It’s 100% safe and durable. You can put out a fire very easily with just one ball. However, you might need to use a couple fire balls for a bigger fire.
